Th' Dawg Dayz...

I hope everyone's enjoying their summer...I know I am! A few of these may look familiar to you since I've posted them before, but I decided to go back thru and clean up some of the drawings a bit and get rid of the scanner schmutz and stuff on the original scans. Who knows? I may end up putting them in a book some day....

I think the beauty in the pictures are the lack of color. Color forces a person on what to think. Black and white or colorless allows for the person to visualize what they want. what ever skin tone you want, what ever eye color you want. Colorless stimulates the mind to be more creative.

The best suprise is coming across your books and work therein packed away in my bookshelves and remembering you signing them way back when I bought them and just that alone, made my entire day.

Is there anywhere where I can purchase originals of your drawings, like a gallery or dealer that I should contact? I'd very much like to purchase one or tow of them.

MK,That's an interesting viewpoint. I haven't been doing much color lately because I'm addicted to sketching so much right now I can't even remember what it felt like to draw in my old tighter style. Also, I'm just not the best at color, but I want to work on it so you may be seeing more color experimentation from me in the near future. Black and white artwork is where my heart lies and is my strong suit, so that won't be going away.
