Just a quick note to say I had another fantastic time at the Tom of Finland Erotic Art Fair. It was great to again see all the artists who I've met over the years like Sean Z, Joe Philips, Steve MacIssac, Michael Kirwan, Dave Davenport, and all the guys from the newly minted Bent Comics (more on this is the near future!) as well as the newbies attending for the first time. And of course, it was great meeting those of you who I've met through this blog who were able to make it to the fair like Wonder Man ('you're a Wonder, Wonder Maaaaaaaaan!' sorry...couldn't help it.) and Cas! I'm forgetting many, and my apologies but the short term memory is the first to go...
As usual, I bought more than I sold, but that's ok because I got some great pieces!....and artwork too! (ba-dum-bum!) Did I use that line last year?...Anyway, a great weekend as always. Thanks to Durk, Sharp and all the guys who make this event happen every year!

The Official Boo Vs Oasis PRINT EDITION On Sale now at Lulu!

Ok, I finished the official Boo Vs Oasis book PRINT EDITION. There has been a print edition of the download available on the Lulu site, but this is the official print edition with some minor tweaks that only matter to me, perfectionist that I am. So those of you who were waiting for the Hold it in your right (or left) hands while your other hand is busy edition, this is it! In it you'll find a brand new all color 17 page story featuring the first meeting of Boo and Oasis. Also two more Boo stories, one from my old defunct website where Trucker Boo picks up a disable motorist and enables him, and another classic from the GBM days that hasn't seen print in over 10 years. In it, Boo is a security guard who catches two hot shoplifters and administers his own brand of justice! These two stories have been colorized as well, so it'll be like seeing them for the first time for those of you who have been following my work for a long time.

Boo Vs. Oasis:Available for Download
So here it is, available for download, Boo vs Oasis! I'm still waiting on the proof of the print version, but in the meantime here's the download. It's my first all color book featuring a new story about when Boo met Oasis and the fire works that ensued...Also featuring a cameo by L'il Big Dick (who needs his own book!). To round out the package are two stories that haven't been in print for almost 10 years from my GBM days and the defunct Belasco Online website. Altogether a hot package for your enjoyment!

The Art of Kalabro

The sexy sketch of Boo was done by fellow erotic artist, Kalabro. I met Kalabro many moons ago, under circumstances my memory can't seem to dredge up, but he's a terrific artist who puts the 'k' in kink. I had lost track of his other website he had back in the day, but I recently discovered he has a blog! It's always cool to discover an artist who's exploring a niche from a different angle and Kalabro is definitely deep into the bondage, S&M, and fetish end of the pool. His stuff makes me blush! For those of you who think my imagery is a bit vanilla (and I know you are...), then Kalabro's stuff is definitely up your alley. Kalabro's work is very visceral and intense...you can smell the sweat! Anyway, give his blog a view and tell him 'B' sent ya.....um. that would be me. Belasco? ok. cool. Jus' checkin'.

Blast from the Past...!

My good friend and fello erotica artist, Anthony Gonzales, sent me something he found. It's the cover to the first appearance of Boo in print form. I know I have my own copy buried somewhere but it was great to see this again and realize how many years it's been since I channeled Boo out of the void and into the world. I can't make out the cover date, but if memory serves, it came out in '97? Someone feel free to correct me...
Anyway, thanks, Anthony and I promise to be in much better health on my next trip to NYC! In the meantime, everyone needs to get Anthony's book, Bronx Boys, now! It's a terrific collection of his detailed, masterfully rendered drawings. He's a virtuoso of technique and an amazing draftsman of the male form. And he's fast! One of these days I'm going to talk him into doing some erotic comics! His stories would be off the proverbial chain!
A Boo from another hand...

Head over to the Anti-Heroes Blog, the blog of the multi-talented cutie pie, J C Etheredge. In honor of Black History Month, he's devoted a post to your's truly (that would be me...). He did a wonderful rendition of Boo, to boot! I love it and am just now getting around to linking to it! Luckily there's a few more days to go in this very short month. Thanks again, JC! Anyway, it's always nice to see how others draw my characters. If any of you artistic types out there are so motivated, I'd love to post some other renditions of Boo, Oasis, Lil Big Dick or Alpha...just send them to Belasco96@aol.com.

Work in Progress and an oldie but goodie
I'm still working on the Boo/Oasis book so I thought I'd show some updates...Hopefully I can offer this finished by March. Since Lulu allows for digital downloads, I can finish this story and make it available then but the full book is going to be 32 pages which will take longer to finish. I know some of you guys prefer the hard copy in your hot, moist little (or big) hand(s). But with Lulu I can offer stories on an individual basis rather than wait until I finish enough to make a whole book. We'll see...but stay tuned...

When Boo Met Oasis...Work in Progress
Happy NEW YEARS! To start '09 (thank GOD '08 is ovah!), here's some color pages in progress from the next book, 'When Boo Met Oasis', hopefully available by early March....

*These images are super saturated because my monitor was out of calibration (how does this happen?). Anyways, I'm having to go back and adjust all the images, but no biggie....

Images from Jail Trade Unleashed

Some random pages from Jail Trade Unleashed, available at Lulu.com by clicking here.
A very special thanks to my soul twin, Papi Chulo (we have the same birthday!) over at his very informative, and constantly updated blog on all things media-related, PAPI CHULO'S BLOG for giving me some nice promotion. His blog is amazing in that it truly combines overall media coverage with a heaping helping of porn news. I believe his blog and others will be the force behind mainstreaming and de-tabooing (is that a word?) porn and erotica in general. Thanks again, Papi!

Here is the cover to Jail Trade Unleashed. It's 32 pages, black and white art with color covers. It's a story featuring two new characters, lovers named Eldon and Emilio, who have to deal with an ex-con from Eldon's past. I'm offering it through Lulu.com. Click on the title or the image above to be taken to the Lulu.com website. This is my first time offering something through a print on demand site, so we'll see how this works.

Super Busy...

Hey, been M.I.A. for a few days due to general life and the fact that the computer's in the shop. Here's some things I scanned though that I hadn't posted yet. On another note, all of you who are capable, need to run out and see 'Noah's Arc: Jumping the Broom'. If you're a fan of the show, then you won't be disappointed and if you aren't a fan of the show, you may be pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed it enough to go twice with two different groups of friends. Hopefully, it will have done well in Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York to get a wider release.
